A native New Yorker, Erica Beckman earned a Visual Arts degree from SUNY New Paltz and now lives in Brooklyn shooting portraits for publications, bands and community projects, including the I Heart Brooklyn Girls pin-up calendar. When she’s not photographing the faces of New York’s cultural scene, Beckman acts as freelance photo editor for The Wall Street Journal and documents the life and times of her poodle named Stud.
